Possibly the most bitter high school football rivalry in Mississippi, it’s probably best that Booneville and Baldwyn are tucked away in the remote northeast corner of the state. A rivalry where hate is passed down from grandmothers to their grandsons, the gridiron scraps between the Blue Devils and the Bearcats have produced flying rocks, post-game fights at restaurants, mysterious insulting letters, the Tornado Bowl, and the infamous “Garrett Tackle.” All this along with 14 other great Mississippi high school football rivalries!
